Visual Identity System
When I moved back to Port Orchard, WA, I ran into an old friend who was the President of our local young professionals group. She asked me to join their board, and I came on as their marketing director. During my first month in the role, I created a new visual identity that I felt represented the organization’s values. I gave a presentation, and after a short time it was adopted. I came up with the concept of the “Uptree” logo, because I wanted something that represented growth in our local area. The style I chose was designed to attract a demographic that is under 40 years old, and my main goal was to make sure it would look good on a t-shirt.
